Sony Xperia Pro reveals superb photography capabilities

The Xperia Pro model that Sony is about to launch is said to have a rotating camera ring to control things like zoom, aperture and focus, similar to lenses on DSLR/mirrorless cameras.

According to the Japanese website, sumahodigest, the camera layout on the upcoming Xperia Pro will be similar to the Xperia Pro-I, except for a very noticeable rotation surrounding the lens. Based on information, this will be a unique ring design that controls one of three features at the same time.

The Xperia Pro-I already has a variable aperture lens on the main camera, and leaks suggest it will borrow the variable aperture zoom lens design from the Xperia 1 series.

The source sharing the leaked information expressed doubts about Sony's ability to provide a system that supports smooth aperture adjustment, different from what the Xperia Pro-I can do when the user Can only switch between f/2.0 and f/4.0 with no selection in between.

Ring control will help the new Xperia Pro model to switch to an even wider aperture range, from f/1.2 to f/4.0.

Previously, Sony had kept the two-stage shutter button on its phones as a holdover from the days when physical controls were common. But when things are getting complicated, mastering photographic aperture will help elevate the camera capabilities on the new generation Xperia Pro.

One thing to note is that the rotating circle style will not be exclusive to the camera on the Xperia Pro.

Given that the Sony phone can act as an external display for the company's mirrorless cameras, this could allow it to act as an additional control for the connected camera.

Finally, the Xperia Pro-II could be scheduled to appear next year, 3 years after the Xperia Pro-I model launched on the market.

The Xperia 1 VI and 5 VI could launch at MWC 2024, and the new Pro model could appear alongside them or hit the market in a separate launch.

When it comes to the world of Android, Sony is the company that makes some of the best phones for users, and this is further demonstrated with the Xperia Pro and Pro-I.

Now, Sony has added some important new features to the Xperia Pro and Pro-I through the latest software updates. This update brings users the External Monitor feature, and also includes Livestreaming, Wave Form and False Color features.

Of these, Wave Form automatically checks exposure and RGB balance, while False Color makes some exposure details more noticeable and also has some new controls for some Sony cameras. Alpha.

Together, these features make it easy for users to stream from an Alpha camera directly to an Xperia Pro or Pro-I in full quality.

If you own one of these phones, you will likely receive this update via the OTA feature. If not updated, users can check manually in their settings app.

Xperia Pro and Pro-I are not cheap phones. Even after the sharp price drop, the Pro-I version costs $1,299 (30.4 million VND) in the US market, but this is not an everyday point-and-shoot phone.

In reality, the Xperia Pro-I is a camera with a phone in it and is the first smartphone to come with a 1-inch sensor. The product is specifically designed for professional photographers who need top-notch tools and don't mind paying for them.

If you're interested in the best Sony phone but don't need the advanced features of the Xperia Pro or Pro-I, Sony also offers another option, the Xperia 1 IV. This product is cheaper than the Xperia Pro in terms of photo and video quality, and it has significant specs compared to most other high-end phones.

While the Xperia Pro is a camera-focused phone, the Xperia 1 IV is more balanced. The problem is that the Xperia Pro is a product line focused on photographers, who want to control everything like a DSLR, and all the new features added in the Xperia Pro update make photography tasks of the users add highlights.
